Privacy Policy

1. Your Photos

When you upload or capture a photo, it stays in your browser’s memory. The face mesh model runs on your device to place landmarks and measure your face. Closing or refreshing the page clears the photo.

2. The Optional AI Precision Check

If you switch on the AI precision check (it is off by default, and you choose before each scan), we send a small, downsized crop of your face and the measured ratios over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server. Our server forwards them to our AI provider, Anthropic, for a one-time analysis and returns the result to your browser.

• We do not save the image or the result on our servers.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models.
• Our AI provider processes the request under its commercial API terms, which do not allow training on API inputs by default. Short-term safety logging may apply under the provider’s policies.
• Turn the check off to keep the analysis fully on your device.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local storage only to remember your theme (light or dark), whether the sidebar is collapsed, and your cookie notice choice. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

4. Server Logs

Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and request time, for security and to prevent abuse. These logs do not include your photos.

5. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please use the tool with a parent or guardian.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not store your photos or create accounts, there is usually no personal data for us to access or delete. If you have questions or a request, email hello@detectfaceshape.ai.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
